Will It Move The Needle?

October 7, 2016 By mark david mcCreary

Building communities can be approached from many different angles so it is key to ask: Will it move the needle? It is important not to get caught up in the daily “to do list” that can be delegated to someone else while you focus on building your community. Every action you take needs to produce new members.

Key Takeaways:

  • We need to think more about the big picture when we are planning our tasks.
  • Focusing on the minute details of our products are not going to “move the needle”.
  • Look for big wins and big projects instead of small day to day updates.

“If you want a far more motivating and productive role, I suggest you spend less time on the daily minutia and more time on the big wins.”
