Why Personality Matters as a Community Manager

Joe Amodio has some advice for both sides when hiring a new community manager.  The person doing the hiring and the person wanting the job need to match the personality into the existing community.  Because it's very difficult to change the culture of the online community.

Take a look at the community you’re going to be working with before you take a position. The hiring manager should be well versed in understanding the needs of the open position because with whoever they hire, it needs to be a perfect fit.
