Viewership slowing down is normal, when you have information that some people are interested in, the need for that interest declines naturally because they have gotten what they need out of it. When you are unable to churn out more people to replace the ones you have lost, it’s time to take action. A decline could also be happening because when you are offering something like a free trial, a lot of the people viewing your content might already be members and don’t need to engage with that offer.
