Building a community that lasts requires that you find what elements members find an absolute requirement. A community differs from an information portal because it also provides a sense of belonging and mutual support. A powerful sense of belonging works when people think your brand is already part of their identity. This is more rare than people think. Mutual support is important by giving people answers to questions as soon as possible. This can help them with emotional support along the way.
