Required Class Reading: Nonprofit Social Media Strategy | Social Media Strategy for Nonprofits and Businesses

Debra Askanase shares her research for a reading list as she prepares to teach a graduate-level class in Social Media Strategy.

Ultimately, I designed the course readings to include two required books for purchase, and many blog posts, journal articles, slideshows, and book excerpts. I chose to assign the entirety of Beth Kanter and Allison Fine’s The Networked Nonprofit, and Allyson Kapin and Amy Sample Ward’s Social Change Anytime Everywhere.
