This is one of a series of episodes on the podcast series that is titled: “Conversations with community managers.” Every week a new community manager is picked and interviewed. The hosts of the podcast termed TheCR are Jim Storer and Shannon Abram. The hosts will have a chat with a community manager who is drawn from a variety of industries. The community managers will be talking about their experiences in managing communities and how they have been able to surmount challenges in doing so. Some of the questions they ask the community managers are what the readers have told the hosts that they want to know about. Answers will be given to what advice the community managers have for newbies who are just starting out in community management. The community managers will also be asked questions that bothers on the best practices that they have in their company that helps them to increase community engagement. Also, there will be a discussion on how they approach an audience that is global in order to produce productive engagements. The community manager that will be interviewed in today’s podcast is Julie Blutstein who is the global digital manager for communities in a company named Prudential International Insurance.
