When integrating new members into your organization via the onboarding process, you need to maintain sustained contact and not just disappear after an initial welcome email. Starting up an email distribution list for new members can help, as can setting up some new members-only events and making sure they know the events are aimed at new arrivals only, so as to make them inviting and low-pressure. The overall goal is help craft a sustained early impression of a warm and inviting organization.
