Communities can sometimes grow naturally as people just happen to find them through search results or are brought in by other members. However, you are much better off implementing a planned, deliberate expansion of your community rather than hoping to just grow naturally, which tends to be a matter of luck. Focus on one specific segment of your target audience, and then aggressively promote your community with that segment. Don’t try to target your expansion too broadly. Figure out what your chosen audience segment’s needs are, and meet them really well. You can them repeat the process with a different target audience segment.
