Extending collaboration toward cooperation | Harold Jarche

Harold Jarche differentiates between the two words, and suggests that cooperation is going to be needed as the world speds up.

Cooperation differs from collaboration in that it is sharing freely without any expectation of reciprocation or reward. Collaboration is just getting things done; important but not sufficient.
