Community Manager Advancement Day 2020

April 27, 2020 By mark david mcCreary

Every year on January 27th, there is a holiday called Community Manager Advancement Day. Those who are assigned community manager roles are responsible for ensuring that workplaces are kept safe, healthy, and also productive. Experts argue that if there is no community manager in place at any business facility, then the odds are that the community is not as healthy and productive as it could be. Community managers should be trained in areas such as mental health training and well-being strategies.

Key Takeaways:

  • While working to keep communities healthy and safe, Community Managers must remember to take care of themselves as well.
  • It is important for Community Managers to stay abreast of mental health practices for both their communities and themselves.
  • Because Community Managers often work alone, colleagues should reach out and offer support when they can.

“If you don’t have a healthy community manager, you won’t have a healthy community. So it’s in everyone’s interests to invest in building healthy, sustainable community manager practices.”
