We no longer converse with each other, we make comments, especially in open forums. Email still feels like a conversation but it can often be an area of miscommunication as we attach our own perceptions to it. Instead of approaching this style of communication by adding our own tone and assumptions it is better to try to really listen to intent and set our our level of conversational response to that one of curiosity and inquisitiveness as we really try to “hear” what another is trying to communicate to us.
